When making it, fresh leaves are used to tightly plug the mouth of the bamboo tube, which is then roasted over fire. To eat, use a knife to peel off the bamboo skin. The rice is wrapped inside the bamboo, and ingredients such as green bamboo, rice grains, cured meat, wood ear mushrooms, and dried bamboo shoots blend together under the heat. Each bite is soft and delicious, with a fragrant aroma, and the wild bamboo flavor is particularly rich and enticing. This is truly the authentic ‘green rice’.

Day 1: Arrival in Guilin
Welcome to Guilin! To ensure a worry-free journey, your personal guide will meet you at the airport arrival hall, then take a bus to the hotel for check-in, followed by a leisurely walk around Rongshanshu Lake, the Twin Towers of the Sun and Moon, East-West Alley, and the Xiaoyao Tower.

Day 2: Guilin to Yangshuo
After breakfast, take a car to Zhuj江 Dock, board a four-star luxury cruise to tour the Li River, experience the karst landscape of strange mountains and beautiful waters, and visit the location used for the background of the 20 yuan RMB note along the way.
In the afternoon, you can take a leisurely walk along the famous Yangshuo West Street, which is known as a ‘global village’ where Eastern and Western cultures blend together.
After dinner, enjoy Zhang Yimou’s directorial masterpiece, the world’s largest live performance set against natural landscapes – Impressions of Liu Sanjie.

Day 3 Yangshuo
After breakfast, your guide will take you to a famous spot known for its popularity on social media, Ruyi Peak. You will ride the cable car to the top of the mountain, enjoy the sea of clouds and sunset, take in the panoramic view of the surrounding mountains, and appreciate the landscape of Guilin from a different perspective.
In the afternoon, we will go for a countryside cycling tour in Yangshuo, immerse ourselves in the fresh air, and ride through beautiful rural landscapes, allowing you to experience the unique charm of Yangshuo while cycling.

Day 4: Yangshuo to Sanjiang
After breakfast, head to the Yulong River Scenic Area, take a bamboo raft tour of the Yulong River. The bamboo rafts glide over the emerald waters, with verdant mountains on both sides shrouded in mist, resembling a flowing landscape painting. You may also see fishermen using cormorants to catch fish, a fascinating display of nature and ingenuity.。
Then take a car to Sanjiang to watch the large-scale live performance of Dong ethnic customs – Zuo Mei Sanjiang. It presents the mysterious customs of Dong ethnic group’s singing and sitting at night, as well as wedding celebrations, showcasing the unique charm of Lusheng, wood leaves, thigh flutes, and pipa. It also displays the exquisite beauty of Dong ethnic costumes, Lusheng dance, and Duoye dance, performing the heavenly sounds of Dong Grand Songs, Wood Leaf Songs, and Duoye songs.

Day 5: Three Rivers – Longji – Guilin
After breakfast, visit Chengyang Eight Villages and the Flower-and-Rain Bridges. The Chengyang Eight Villages scenic area features over 2,000 stilt houses, 13 drum towers, and 11 flower-and-rain bridges. It is renowned for having the largest museum of Dong wooden architecture in China and is home to one of the world’s four famous historical bridges, the ‘Chengyang Yongji Bridge’.
Then take a vehicle to visit Longji Rice Terraces at Jinjing (including cable car rides up and down to Jinfoding). The terraces are built along the mountainsides, and the scenery is especially enchanting when sunlight reflects off the water in the rice fields; when the rice is ripe, the fields shine golden. After the tour, return to Guilin.

Day 6: Guilin
After breakfast, check in at Elephant Trunk Hill, the emblem of Guilin City, and take a group photo in front of it. It features famous attractions such as Diecai Pavilion and Mingyue Peak, along with rich cliff carvings and ancient structures like the Wooden Dragon Pagoda. It’s an unmissable place for experiencing both nature and culture in Guilin.
Evening boat tours of the Two Rivers and Four Lakes refer to the Guilin urban water system composed of Rong Lake, Sand Lake, Osmanthus Lake, Mulan Lake, Li River, and Taohua River. The night scenery is even more beautiful.
