Day 2: Nanning to Detian to Jingxi
After breakfast, we arrived at the Detian Scenic Area in Chongzuo City, led by our tour guide and driver, to visit the largest transnational waterfall in Asia and the fourth largest in the world—the Detian Transnational Waterfall.
Then we took a bamboo raft tour of the Ming Shi Countryside, where the mountains and waters are picturesque, green bamboo winds around the banks, and rice stalks sway. It is known as the ‘Little Guilin’. Because the immortal and fantasy drama ‘Flower Bones’ filmed its Longliu Immortal Realm here, it is also called ‘the place where gods live’.

Day 3: Jingxi to Nanning to Rong County (Beiliu)
This morning, we mainly visited two places in Jingxi: E Pool and the ancient town of Jiuzhou.
Ge Quan is one of the three famous springs in southwestern China and is also the source of Detian Falls, the largest transnational waterfall in Asia, known for its crystal-clear spring water and beautiful natural scenery.
Jiu Zhou Ancient Town is renowned for its beautiful mountains and waters as well as its pastoral scenery, earning it the title of a miniature representation of Jingxi’s landscapes. The area enjoys spring-like weather year-round and is praised for its ‘Little Guilin’ beauty, referring to its picturesque hills and rivers.
In the afternoon, I returned to my ancestral hometown of Rong County (Beiliu) under the guidance of a tour guide to meet with relatives.

Day 5: Rong County (Beiliu) – Wuzhou
After breakfast, we toured the renowned site of the Three Teachings Unity (Taoism, Buddhism, Confucianism) – Mount Douqiao in Rong County. In the afternoon, we traveled by car to Wuzhou, where we visited the Dragon Mother Temple in Wuzhou. In the evening, we strolled along the Wuzhou Arcade Street.

Day 6: Wuzhou to Foshan to Shunde
Today we traveled to Foshan, visiting the Foshan Ancestral Temple, Lingnan Tian Di. The Ancestral Temple is renowned as the foremost among Foshan’s temples, hence its name ‘Ancestral Temple.’ It also epitomizes the decorative arts of Lingnan architecture. Inside the temple, there are the Memorial Hall of Wong Fei-hung and Ip Man Hall, allowing one to experience the martial arts culture of Foshan.
In the afternoon, we will head to Shunde, an area awarded the title of ‘World Cuisine Capital’ by UNESCO. We will visit Qinghui Garden, the first among Guangdong’s Four Famous Gardens, Shunfeng Grand Archway, and Huagailu Pedestrian Street.

Day 7: Shunde to Guangzhou
After breakfast today, I was driven to Guangzhou. We visited the Canton Tower, Haixinsha Island, Huacheng Square, Xiguan houses, Yongqingli, and enjoyed a tram tour. We also strolled along Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street and savored delicious local food, which was absolutely amazing!
Guangzhou Haizhu Tram, this unique line connects Guangzhou Tower with Wanshengwei, known as ‘the most beautiful 7 kilometers in Guangzhou’. The tram starts at Guangzhou Tower Station and ends at Wanshengwei Station.
